Mark Peterson, RA, LEED BD+C
Director of Facility Planning Services
Mark Peterson joined Medical Management Associates in 2017. He is responsible for managing all space planning projects. As Director of Facility Planning Services, Mr. Peterson works closely with clients to develop the space program and is responsible for design, contract management, document production, and coordinating the work of MMA's engineering team members. During construction, Mark works closely with owners and general contractors to ensure that the design is implemented on time and on budget.
Mr. Peterson is a licensed architect with more than thirteen years of professional design and management experience. During his career Mr. Peterson has been responsible for a variety of public and private project types including medical office buildings, ambulatory surgery centers, standalone new construction and interior build-outs.
Mr. Peterson is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served six years on active duty as a jet engine mechanic. During his service, he traveled extensively with tours in the Balkans, North Africa and the Middle East. His hobbies include studying languages and auto racing.
